Did anyone ever earn enough Disney $$$ for a free trip???

What are you using to earn points? I have a Chase Visa Debit/Credit card....but is this strictly a credit card? Or where do you go to find out how many points you have? I want points!!! HAHAHA

I only have the Credit Card. You can see how many points you have by going to your account online, or on your statement. They publish a list of how many points you earned for the previous month and where you earned them.

I used to use my Disney Visa for the points, but have switched over to my United card - the air miles give me more flexibility, and the value per dollar spent seems to work out better on the United card. I also have DVC, so Disney points would only be used to for park admission and food.

Speaking of DVC, when I bought DVC I put it all on my Disney Visa and then paid it off the next month. Then went on a DIsney cruise using the developer points I got when buying the DVC. Free cruise with a pocket full of gift cards. Nice

We have the premium card, and I had a bit of and "idea" the other day. On the Chase website where it breaks down the rewards, I get 2% for purchases at restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores.

So, I thought, why can't I just buy Disney gift cards at the grocery store, earn 2% on top of that and use the cards to pay my balance? I bought a card the other night and will see next month if it works. I don't see why it won't.
