Thanks for posting. I find this all very interesting. I would give anything to go back in time and be able to do the CP! I had no idea it even existed when I was in college. Now I'm at least hoping my kids can do it someday.:) I wish you lots of luck, and will keep an eye out for you when we visit the studios!

Thanks. I'm glad I found out about it. I just hope I can figure out a way to stay here permanently

Great guide, brought back so many memories of my first CP, how long are you there for? May or August? Im going to do another Alumni summer from May till August. For your roommate situation, it is always awkward living with new people from all over and with different age, race, orientation and depending on your upbringing you may find it easy or hard to talk to them, I know I did. I went through 6 different room mates during my Fall Advantage 06 program (they got termed, program ended, quit, went missing, was part of some Disney security investigation, ect...) What I learned from the CP was just go with it and if you want something done or want to go some where take the lead, you may also find this out in your leadership course, I took Marketing You and Human Resource Management and learned so much great information that has helped in school and Im sure it will help out in life both professional and personal.

Hope your CP is going good!

Oh trust me, I've already taken plenty of initiative when it comes to what I want done. It's barely week two and I've already talked to one of the heads of entertainment at the Studios about getting a pyro position after my CP.

As for the roommate situation - we talk. That's not the issue, it's just that when you are with someone old enough to be your father who doesn't go out and do stuff, it's a bit harder to go out and have fun with them. I've been hanging out with people as I can, but it's on a limited basis right now.
