Exactly. We go to Hogsmeade to ride the rides, sometimes grab lunch at Three Broomsticks. But if we're hanging out and enjoying the atmosphere, it's hands-down Diagon.

Love them both. I suppose Diagon Alley is more flushed out, but it's hard to beat having Hogwarts castle on premises. Love them both.

The atmosphere of Diagon alley starts when you come through the wall at King's Cross.
It is definitely more immersive than walking through the arch into Hogsmeade.

Diagon is more immersive but the closed-off nature of it also makes me feel a bit like I'm a very well-themed mall food court or something. Gringotts is also not a great attraction. It definitely needed a second ride. Hogsmeade is small and simple but it works and has two great attractions and a 3rd filler attraction, so I vote for Hogsmeade.

Diagon Alley looks like it came straight out of the movies and books. Plus it's E-ticket doesn't make me sick like Hogsmeade's now does.

I prefer the rides in Hogsmeade but DA is really cool to explore. However, DA feels very, very cramped.

I simply have a problem with fake snow on roofs in Orlando FL. Just looks out of place to me in 80-90 degrees F.

I love that vibe at diagon ally. Since it feels so big around you. I also dont think the ride is bad...its just hard for it to stand on it's own. It needed another ride.
