Diagon Alley Red Carpet Event

I just want to scream "I TOLD YOU SO" at all those nay-sayers who said Harry Potter wasn't right for Disney.

The winning counter-move by Disney would be a permanent Nightmare Before Christmas dark ride.

But, oh no, we mustn't have that. That's so un-Disney.

I found it refreshing that Ricky from InsideTheMagic tweeted:
"@InsideTheMagic: Words come to mind: Spared no expense. Massive and immersive in every way. #DiagonAlley"
I'm even more excited now, come on October!!

Here are some pictures from the event. They're not the greatest because cameramen were often in the way (and I was behind a row of people), but it was still cool getting to see the stars.

Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick and Griphook)

Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley, and future Star Wars actor)

Matthew Lewis (Neville - all the girls went crazy for him!)

Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange)

And finally, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy - he was really nice and spent a lot of time interacting with the crowd!)

Many other stars were there as well, including Bonnie Wright (Ginny), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Evanna Lynch (Luna), James & Oliver Phelps (the Weasley twins - I didn't recognize them without the red hair!), and Mario Lopez (conducting interviews). Couldn't get good pictures of them, but it was still exciting!

Not sure what you are getting at, but if Disney had landed the rights to Potter, this is NOT what we would have gotten.
