I stumbled upon this event by accident in Universal. It was so cool! They kept the crowd far away from everyone on the red carpet, but some of the stars (Warwick Davis and Tom Felton) came up and seriously interacted with everyone. The fangirls went crazy for him, as well as for Matthew Lewis and the Phelps twins.

Between this, the Fallon tapings, and the Tonight Show concerts (included for Uni day guests), it's incredible what NBC/Universal/Comcast have put into this preview week. Checkmate, dwarfs.

Now I'm feeling even better about my decision to buy a Uni annual pass. :) Will be missing the grand opening, but I'll be back in Orlando at the end of July. SO excited.

In comparison, my Disney annual pass expires in 4 days. It's my first time not renewing (I've had it since 2008). Oh well. :D

I am soooooo excited to plan my next Orlando trip and Uni is the reason why. My son is almost 40 inches as soon as we get there I'm all in for Uni. So many new and new to us things to share with my kids. Springfield, Despicable Me and Diagon Alley will all be new since our last trip in 2012. We will of course hit WDW too but I'm more interested in all the new UNI offerings right now.

Reports seem to all agree that this is a mix of The Mummy, Transformers, and Spiderman. Better than the Forbidden Journey. A few steep but short drops, launches, and spinning.
Also, you take elevators followed by a winding staircase as part of the queue.
