It will probably become a Starbucks.Does anyone know what the plans for Walt's plane are?
They have to be down for SWW, I would imagine. Which is only 3 1/2 weeks away.Based on the picture posted in the hat thread it doesn't appear they are in any rush to finish things there, so I think the wall are still going to be there for a while.
A large portion of those props are being sent to Disneyland Paris for a renovation and expansion of their backlot tour. It's likely going along with that, though it's backstory should keep it in WDW IMO.Does anyone know what the plans for Walt's plane are?
if thats true.. thats awful lol!.It will probably become a Starbucks.
But now the park just sits idle with a bunch of closed attractions. They could've started construction without it being of any inconvenience and without a lot of construction walls if they wanted to. But I do like your optimism. DHS was my favorite when I first visited so I wanna see it get the treatment it deserves. As much as I want to see an announcement too, there is also a lot of construction currently going on in the WDW property. Downtown Disney is getting a major overhaul, AK is nothing but construction walls, and MK has the walls up in the Hub (or at least it did). Even though it is frustrating, I can understand if Disney doesn't want every park to be destroyed by construction at the same time- cause that would deter guests. Let's hope that once MK hub work is finished, AK work is in its last legs, and Disney Springs is relaunched that Disney is ready to talk construction for HS (and Epcot). In the meantime, let's hope there are some awesome plans and concept art being created as we speak. I'm optimistic that August will bring us a lot of exciting news!!!!!
Getting too old to wait that one out.Well...it took 5 years to complete the Fantasyland Expansion after the announcement...they have not even announced anything officially yet for Star Wars...So... stands to reason we are probably looking at 5-6 years to complete...
I guess Disney doesn't care about us elders do they.Getting too old to wait that one out.

Then there is still hope!Fantasyland took 5 years because they changed plans mid stream. If they had built everything as planned from the beginning it would probably have taken under 3 years.

mid-stream? they had not even broken ground yet before the change took place...They were in no rush to get that project done...Ok I looked it up...they had broken ground...oops. but barely into the project...Fantasyland took 5 years because they changed plans mid stream. If they had built everything as planned from the beginning it would probably have taken under 3 years.
