DHS / Steven Tyler Observation...

Ok, so now that Steven Tyler is officially a judge on American Idol, he is directly linked to TWO of the largest attractions @ DHS! (AIE and RNRRC in case you didn't know, but if you're reading this, I'm sure you did...)
Yet think of how many ACTUAL Disney characters have NEVER been represented in any sort of way @ WDW...

:veryconfu

Are you suggesting Disney characters who've never been represented in any sort of way at Walt Disney World would make a better choice for the Rock N Roller Coaster?

Or are you nominating obscure Disney characters to represent judges of the American Idol show?

The premise of this thread is odd.

I was merely suggesting that I'd prefer it if Aerosmith and American Idol were BOTH NOT represented in a significant way anywhere in WDW.
Never bothered with AIE, I can go to any karaoke bar for that.
And as far as RnR, I'm an Aerosmith fan, been to at least 4 of their concerts over the years, own a lot of their music, and I like the ride. But to me, it has always seemed out of place in DHS. Every other attraction there can be tied to a movie or TV show in some way except that one. And its not like it would fit in at Epcot, AK, or MK... so that's all I was getting at.
And also, I only said they were 2 OF the biggest, not the 2 BIGGEST attractions in DHS.

AIE is an alright show, but I understand why it isn't as popular. I personally wouldn't want to devote that much of my day to perform, not that I would want to sing in front of people anyways.

Stitch's Great Escape begs to differ.

At least SGE is an attraction! Its something you don't see at your local high school or county fair or whatever. But karaoke? I don't care how many lights, video screens, etc they have. Its still just a KARAOKE CONTEST!!!

I don't like AI so its safe to say I will not like AIE so I will never watch it. But to be fair I think it would have worked out a lot better if they would have built it like 7 years ago.
