Spent some time today hunting down where all the characters at DHS had been moved around to. Only one I forgot was Mickey, and he's in the animation building now.
Anywho, quickie of T-Rex progress. The complex is huge.
Off to DHS.. Toy Story Mania walls have moved out. They stop right at One Man's Dream on one side. Note the heavy foliage blocking any view if they did put up a sign.
And there's not much to see from the other side either.
Oh well, swung by the Backlot Tour to see it quite crowded, so i skipped and ran through the AFI showcase. People with clipboards were discussing the backdrops and walls, mentioning something about it being like walking through a forest. Might be a nice change of pace after the refurb, too bad they wont be adding to the actual tour.
Cars have a meet and greet with a backdrop right by the tour and Mania wall.
And Monsters have a meet/greet right inside the exit of the tour, though the entrance to the area is back by the tram turnaround through this themed facade..
And here's what the greet looks like, an upgrade from the stage door of the ABC theater.
Speaking of which, it's starting to look more Idol-esque.
Was rather busy today, note the crowd lingering after Block Party Bash.
And while we're talking about DCA imports - did this billboard debut in DHS first or at DCA first?
The more i see little bits like this and the concept art for DCA's overhaul, it really looks like the two parks will be nearly identical in aesthetic.
That's it for today, just a quick little jaunt.
