Hi all

I'm wondering if there are any fellow Dexter fans on this site!

I adore the show and this past season was the best, my favorite by far.

Where do you think the show will go from here after that shocking finale??
What would you like to see happen next?

I love me some Dexter. Never miss it.
Really didn't see that ending coming, and I'm still kinda shaking my head over it.
What does he do now? Become more dark and tortured? Lighten up and raise three kids?

Damn....gotta wait many months to find out.

Not sure how he can explain the ending... The murder was out of character for Trinity, out of the normal sequence and he technically was not involved in the investigation, so why would Trinity target his wife?

To seek revenge on "Kyle" for betraying him or fooling him?? But you're right, is it out of the pattern.

The writers can do a lot with the upcoming season.

I heard a theory that Dexter is the prime suspect in Rita's murder. Quinn catches onto Dexter as Doakes did in the beginning of the series and Dexter offs Quinn.

I think what will happen is Deb will begin to become more curious about Dexter's past and who he really is. There will be questions about his possible involvement in Rita's murder since he has no valid alibi. He will grapple with being a single father and his desires to kill and seek revenge on someone who doesn't exist anymore.

But that's my point... "Kyle" was only known to Trinity and his family. The rest of the police won't know any of that, so there's no logical reason to kill Rita... Thus the possibility that Dex will be a prime suspect [which I hadn't heard, but guessed myself].

Remember how Trinity came to the police station? He did know him as Dexter and researched his address and landed at Deb's house at first.
But as far as we know, his family knows him still as Kyle.
