That setup is not condusive to a family friendly attraction. I've been screaming that ever since the rumor of a Stitch takeover started up. It is time to start completely from scratch, IMO.

I couldn't agree more. At least when it was Alien Encounter, it appealed to teens, some pre-teens, and adults. Now with the Stich version, not only did they condense the amount of people it appeals to, but the people (younger kids) that it appeals to are petrified once they get on it...

I read the spoiler, but might have missed it. Is the skinny dog still there?

Just curious.
I don't know of a skinny dog, you may be thinking of the dog in the Haunted Mansion. There are two dogs in PotC: the singing dog with the singing pirates and the dog holding the keys in the dungeon.

Wait, so there's a Captain (Barbossa) giving orders on the ship and a different captain dunking the Mayor?? Does this make sense?

I don't think so...I'm pretty sure Barbossa only appears on the ship and the original captain is still there dunking the mayor.

Entering the indoor queue, you go through photocell counters - the turnstyles have been replaced.

Yes, two different captains. Barbossa on the Wicked Wench and the same captain trying to find out where Sparrow is from the mayor.

Great report, and I think it covered pretty much everything. I was really impressed with the Davy Jones fog effect. It's really well done. I do think they went a little overboard with the battle scene fog, though it still looks cool. All of the new AA's look amazing, especially the last Capt. Jack--very fluid animation.

Just one really minor detail, but I was taking a close look at the expression on the Redhead. She now looks like she might not be altogether thrilled by the idea of being a pirate's "bride." Is this a new addition, or from back when they PC'd it?

We should form a support group: Battered by the Pirates' Turnstyles

I rejoice as well! Now if only the Mansion would follow suit ... but that's another story for another time.

Is the skeleton pirate at the ship's wheel still in POTC before the Wicked Wench scene?
Yup, the skeleton captain is still at his wheel.

Also, I believe the queue loop is basically unchanged, though it was really quiet for some reason.

Wouldn't it be three dogs now? one with the singing pirates, one with the keys, and one barking at Jack in the barrel. Unless they moved the singing one???:(
