In the video they are specifically talking about Lumiere being a part of Belle's Cottage story experience. For anyone in attendance at D23, did they also state in the presentation that he will be used at Be Our Guest?

I watched the P&R presentation and they did not say he would be in be our guest, but I imagine he can have a part in the restaurant because of the concept art with him on the cart

Thanks! And very interesting...it's hard to figure what the final AA will be like, since the animation provided was pretty crude (and the design, frankly, looked a little off-model - was Lumiere's face a bit too small?) - but the comment that he's being built to scale is exciting. It's what I hope will happen someday with a Mickey AA. I do wonder how the Imagineers will handle Lumiere's flames. That would be a neat visual trick, if the flames looked real and even gave off light...

I would expect him to be, in addition to other characters from the film as well. I have high expectations for this to be a richly themed and amazing dining experience. There is so much potential there.
