Leslie Iwerks is making a new “building Disneyland” documentary.
Called Disneyland Handcrafted for D+
Is it just me, or was the music in the Handcrafted trailer creepy and ominous?
I imagine that since Leslie Iwerks is involved, it will be more like the Imagineering Story.Hopefully it's more like Imagineering Story episodes 1-4 and less like Behind the Attraction
Carousel of Progress refurb?!
yes!!
Yup added scene with Walt to ‘tie it all together with a great big beautiful tomorrow”.
So happy this is finally happening. Is this the last scene or the first scene? Here we go…..they just brought Beatty out to announce COP brand new scene….

This is their indirect apology for what they're doing to Frontierland
Telling that they waited over 30 years to finally do it (after years of rumor and delay) and announce it within 60 days of closing RoA
"Hexed" is the new movie, about a boy's "weirdness actually being hidden magic shining through." "They discover that can what often make us feel different may be the most special part of who we are."
This "discovering who you are" is like the same plot of the last 10 Disney movies, repackaged, not to mention a tired idealogical metaphor. It would be nice to get some movie versions of fairy tails again, where there is external conflict and villains causing the protagonist to change who he is, rather than finding out he never needed to change. It's not like Disney has exhausted the library of old stories.
Great this is much better than the curtain. Do we think they will finally update the last scene? It will be a new introductory scene per Disney:
Progress and innovation were two of Walt’s cornerstone passions, which is as evident in the show today as it was when it first debuted. Before you follow an American family (and Rover!) over four generations of progress as technology transforms their lives and paves the way for once-unimaginable innovations, you’ll be able to catch a brand-new introductory scene and hear from the legendary man who never stood in the way of progress — Walt Disney.

Every movie ever made has a “message.”Every movie has to have “The Message”.
Heaven forbid they make something fun.
But I guess they like losing millions of dollars on each of these productions.
Beatty: “Walts name is in the title, so you know we thought it’s only fitting that Walt Disney himself introduced the show in a brand new scene.”So happy this is finally happening. Is this the last scene or the first scene?
