"Hexed" is the new movie, about a boy's "weirdness actually being hidden magic shining through." "They discover that can what often make us feel different may be the most special part of who we are."

This "discovering who you are" is like the same plot of the last 10 Disney movies, repackaged, not to mention a tired idealogical metaphor. It would be nice to get some movie versions of fairy tails again, where there is external conflict and villains causing the protagonist to change who he is, rather than finding out he never needed to change. It's not like Disney has exhausted the library of old stories.
Sounds like another flop. The concept doesn’t appeal to young men at all.

I just noticed that I missed something on the schedule. What was the Disney around the world India thing about?

It’s about Walt Disney and his connections to places. Not about the parks. It mostly honed into Jungle book.

The Japan one is happening and talking about his travelogues so far.

Scratch that: they are now talking about the history of making Tokyo Disney.

This experience has been terrible - the Destination D23 is waste. Preimer access - couldn't even get into the shopping yesterday during my designated time. It was chaos. They made the top tier paying attendees walk the furthest. And then there were no seats. Poor. This whole thing is poorly run. Waste of money and time. No announcements worth sitting in the presentation hall for. Waste.

Cut them some slack. They're a new company not at all versed in how to manage and move large crowds. I'm sure they'll figure it out.

Yeah! Why can't we have more movies celebrating conformity and repression? Tell those little wierdos to fall in line!

Every movie has to have “The Message”.

Heaven forbid they make something fun.

But I guess they like losing millions of dollars on each of these productions.
