Definitely my most pleasant non-reserved seats situation. It even looks like general seating is pretty reasonable seat options left. I’m glad I didn’t arrive early.

I got in the General Queue at just about 7, in the Hall at 7:40

Was in the second batch of people in. Feel like with the poles and then the reserved seating (for media, etc) was hard to find a spot with a balance of not being blocked but not being to the side too far

That would mean more Western Lego sets which I'm sure people would be very happy about... Seriously, the last Lone Ranger movie sold far more than expected sets because of that.

"Hexed" is the new movie, about a boy's "weirdness actually being hidden magic shining through." "They discover that can what often make us feel different may be the most special part of who we are."

This "discovering who you are" is like the same plot of the last 10 Disney movies, repackaged, not to mention a tired idealogical metaphor. It would be nice to get some movie versions of fairy tails again, where there is external conflict and villains causing the protagonist to change who he is, rather than finding out he never needed to change. It's not like Disney has exhausted the library of old stories.

The studios panel was surprisingly pre-Honda expo (not destination)-like and was honestly much better than a typical Destination parks panel. I don’t feel ripped off if the rest of the weekend is a bust.

Honestly the announcement I maybe cared about most

What happens in new films and what Disney says is merchandisable from their archive, are two very much different things. Otherwise we'd still be having fantastic films!
