Dessert Party

Has anyone been to the new dessert party while viewing wishes? If so what do they serve and how was it? I booked it for my upcoming trip.

I believe it was $17.99/adult and $10.99/child. DW took care of the $ so I'm not 100% certain. Oh, another FYI: participation needs to be PREPAID. We had an early dinner so that we could maximize the gluttony factor @ 8pm. There were some folks who told me that the Dessert Party was their dinner and ended up with a huge pile of dessert plates on the table before CMs took them away. It was a family of 5 and I counted 14 plates. My kinda people!

Thanks, wdwhoneymooner and everyone else for all the info. Sorry about the typo, wdwhoneymooner. Sounds great, we're signed up! (We have done the way more expensive Fantasmic! dessert in DL a number of times, so this sounds like a bargain and may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.) One of the early articles talked about 35 people, so I was afraid the 170 meant now people were also being seated inside which wouldn't be nearly as much fun, so glad to hear there's room for everyone outside.

Has any one heard if this is going to be extended? My mom just offered to pay for it as DH's bday present, but we not going until September 1st.

If it stays popular, I don't know why it wouldn't. If attendance levels drop once school starts back up they would probably cancel it due to the costs involved.
