Despite many trips, what have you missed?

When I dig through these boards, I am reminded of things I've manage to miss every time. My family goes pretty frequently, but, due to weather, crowds, closings, whiny relatives, etc, we've manage to miss a few things.

Things we've missed:

1. SW weekends- Not sure how this happened last time. were went to WDW in June but managed to miss it

2. Kali- never been in the mood for a soaking lol

3. many fine dinings- first it was the kids and cost. Now, with the DDPs, we can't get in.

4. embarassingly, some of the attractions in the countries in Epcot. We've seen a few but it never fails that the kids are asleep by the time we get into WS and we don't want to disturb them. We go see the sights and street performers while they sleep.

I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of right now.

I've never really stopped and watched the parades, for a week straight (march, 2010) I was pumping myself up to get a good spot and watch and then BANG the baby stroller army came out and killed my ambition.

This trip I actually covered a couple never-done things, like Kali River Rapids, Barnstormer, the Fairy M&G in the Judge's Tent, and the Osborne Lights.

I think I still have a few though, probably mostly shows:
Never been into Camp Minnie Mickey / Seen The Lion King show / Primeval Whirl
Never seen Lights, Motors, Action or Narnia at DHS
The Circle of Life movie in The Land (or it's precursor Symbiosis)

Lion King and LMA are MUSTS

Your life will go on if you skip the rest

Well I could list the resorts I have yet to stay at...

Mission Space-It has no appeal to me what so ever.
Hubby has never done Splash Mountain, yet every time we are there we always say this year. Well maybe this year. Or next that is.
Those space orbitors in Tomorrowland.

Mission space skip! I do not get motion sick and I was SICK!

The tomorrowland space orbitors are one of our favs!

1. A Monorail loop to visit the resorts (it will happen next year even if i have to do it very late at night)
2. Toy Story (fast pass are always gone and i cant justify 60 minute que :brick:)
3. all the rides and shows in WS ( im a foodaholic and a shopaholic so i get distracted)
4. Beauty and the Beast in DHS ( i've just never made it)

Theres more, a lot more come to think of it they are just top of my list. but isn't that the appeal of returning numerous times, i always experience something new.
My last visit was my first with kids so i fit in a lot of firsts that time like character dining and a lot of the rides in fantasy land, oh and this was my first year to watch illuminations (whats with that, :hammer: how have i missed that al them years, it was amazing)

I always say that I want to catch more of the street performers, especially the ones in Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Notably, the last time we went, I specfically said that I wanted to see the Chinese Dragon Acrobats, and I didn't, and now it looks like I never will :(

Mission Space... extreme level (orange, I think?) once and done. I NEVER get sick on rides and it actually threw me off and ruined my whole day. I came off white, and to be honest... its kind of a useless ride.

I always say I will do Kali Rapids and I bring cloths to wear on it but when I get there, I just can not do it. Not that I am scared of the ride or anything, I just do not want to be soaking wet gross walking around. I just can not get myself over that hump.....:shrug::shrug::wave:

Tom Sawyer's Island--I've wanted to do it, but it just doesn't happen

WDW at Christmastime--just haven't been able to get down there for the
holidays. Maybe next year

Typhoon Lagoon--we always go to Blizzard Beach

Swiss Family Treehouse--is this even open still?

Chinese Dragon Acrobats--I've missed it for forever now :(

Tower of Terror--I have this recurring nightmare of being in a free-falling
elevator...this would be living out my nightmare! DD13 and I
ALMOST did it this year (I was so scared I was crying, but couldn't
let her ride alone), but we chickened out when we got inside

There are bats at DAK? Hmmmm....

I think the main thing I've never experienced was WDW at Christmastime. I've been to Tokyo Disney a couple times during Christmas, and I've seen the TV specials on WDW, but have yet to go. Hopefully next year!

Aside from that, TSM and the water parks are the other biggies I have never done.

In my three recent trips to WDW (Oct. 2007, Aug, 2008 and Dec. 2009), I have not tested my skills at the Winter Summerland or Fantasia mini golf courses.

I have never set foot inside Blizzard Beach.

I have never golfed a round at the many golf courses.

On my to do list next time.

I haven't done the halloween party. I would love to, though.

I also haven't really done BB. We did go this last trip but it was so crowded and started to storm a bit so we left. I've been to TL several times, though.

I want to see more street performers. I've seen some but certainly not all.

Just this last trip, I did HoP for the first time. In the past, I wasn't interested. Then it was closed. I wanted to see the new Obama AA and I can totally my family and I were AMAZED! The way the AAs moved was just a techno wonder.

I would like to see the films in France and China, they are about the only things that I feel I need to see, to have done everything I would like to do at least once. I would also like to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour, and of course Star Tours II, when it opens.

Tom Sawyer was something we did for the first time last trip, and will be doing it again, it was very authentic and great if you enjoyed the books!

As for ToT, trust me and just go for it; you won't regret it.
