Desktop Wallpaper

Good call GoofyFan1, that's what I would have suggested too.

Specifically, check out the "Ripple" screensaver. It automatically comes with a PotC image, but you can use any image you want and it will create a rippling water effect on the lower half of your desktop. You can customize it to your specific wallpaper too by adjusting where the "waterline" is, the intensity of the ripple and whether or not it reflects your desktop icons- VERY cool!
I have a nighttime shot looking from the water at DTD Westside. With water in the background of the picture, it looks incredible with all the lights reflecting in the rippling water!

Alternatively, you could go through the Digital Media Contests forum within this site. The Wallpaper Contest threads have some excellent attraction-based wallpaper entries created by members of this forum. I have used Main Street USA's Splash Mountain and Tower of Terror wallpapers, as well as General Grizz's Mickey's Philharmagic. They are all pretty cool.

Hey, even the photo albums on this site are *chock full* of good images that can be used as wallpaper!

I've gotten more from WDWmagic than from any other site out there...

Looks like it was edited out by the forum software... either its considered a swear word, or a site that Steve doesn't want people to link to.. Maybe M:SpilotISTC12 could try posting it again with spaces (ie W D W M A G I C .com)?

yep, and if they are fairly small, send the user a PM. I'm sure they would share a larger version with you. I know I wouldn't mind.

Could you tell me where to find this ripple thing? I searched the website, but couldn't find it.
Thanks!

I went to the disneyexperience.com site, but for some reason can't find the ripple effect one you mentioned. Maybe I'm just blind. Any help?

***just realized the person RIGHT before asked this same question days ago. I guess I really AM blind. :hammer:
