I am about to accept a transfer to a location in Longwood FL, and I will be going down a few weeks before my wife. Right now our plan is to live somewhere south of Longwood for a month or two until my wife can find a job (then we'll find some place permanent that is close to both of our jobs).
Do you have any reccommendations for both short-term and long-term housing? Places to avoid? I've only been to the Orlando area to visit Disney, so beyond that I've been relying on apartments.com and rent.com to look for apartments. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Ideally we would like to live close to entertainment and restaurants. I wouldn't want to drive longer than 30 minutes each way to work (unless the accomodations are superior). Thanks again for any help!
