Demand by Room Type

Does anyone have an idea of what types of rooms tend to "sell out" most quickly at the DVC?

I ask because we will almost always need a 2BR. Availability at a non-"home" resort will be a factor in deciding where to buy. The dilemma is that I like the idea of having an interest in DVC until 2054 at Saratoga Springs, but I also like the idea of having a better shot (11 months v. 7 months) at getting a 2 BR at the Boardwalk for any given trip to WDW.

For example, if we bought at Saratoga Springs but wanted to stay at the Boardwalk during a peak season, would it be harder to get a 2 BR than a 1BR or a studio?

I hope my question makes sense, and thanks in advance for any insights you might have.

Honestly, I think it's always going to be a crap shoot during peak times. 2BR are more points, but then larger groups of families and friends can be at WDW for the holidays. But studios are better for people that want more privacy, not to mention smaller families or couples.

But also, look at it this way. I know OKW & SSR tend to be the least popular of the DVC resorts, but they're also the quietest. During the peak crowds of the holiday season, you may be dreaming of the relative solitide of the quiet pools in SSR. They all have pros & cons.
