Deluxe Studio at Poly: Too good to be true? Problem with the ferry whistle?

A hard, cement like bottom painted blue to give the water and area the appearance of crystal blue water. When you enter the GCH from the ground level, look left and right into the water fountains and you can see a small example of it...

Got it.
Makes sense.
Especially considering I spent my Honeymoon in Bora Bora.

We stayed in Moorea earlier this year with a lake view on the third floor, on the end right next to the ferry. We actually really enjoyed it! I am a light sleeper, so I brought my white noise machine with me for night. But slept fine during the day without it and the balcony door open or closed. The noise from the ferry was not nearly as loud that I thought it would be (based on other complaints we read before we went). The horn really felt Disney to me, as we don't live in a noisy area. We can't wait to go back and will request a room close to the ferry side again.

We also loved the room! We have stayed at the Contemporary previously and I thought the murphy bed in the Poly studios was a lot more comfortable than the day bed at the Contemporary (The standard rooms at Poly have the day bed) - if this is something you need to use.
