Deluxe Resorts?

We recently stayed at the Boardwalk, and yes, some of the higher fireworks could be seen from our room. It was lovely to be able to walk to Epcot and DHS from there, but like the poster before me, I wouldn't go monorail to MK (hassle of having to enter Epcot through the International Gateway, through the park to the front, then get on monorail...). We used the bus for MK.

If we recall correctly, you would also "burn" an admission to Epcot to walk through the entire park from the international gateway to the "front" to catch the monorail to MK. Okay if you have hopper tickets, not okay if you only have one park per day. We would also utilize buses.

I'm going to throw my 2 cents in for the Poly, especially with young kids (even more so with girls.) Reasoning for this is at that age they are into the pixie dust and princesses that are focused in the MK, thus most of our time was spent there when my daughters were that young. You can't beat the poly for all around transportation. We used the boat to the MK, then you can walk to the Ticket & Trans Center for the Epcot monorail. We usually took the Epcot monorail to then catch the boat to Disney Studios. The only busing came for AK, and we actually took a cab there instead. Remember though, you need park hopper to make this work.

Food and atmosphere- Poly wins.
View - GF wins.

But again, it depends where the majority of your time will be spent. If multi Epcot days and 1 MK day, the boardwalk makes more sense.

Ooh, I like that picture. Me and hubby are going are on split-stay trip this coming May and the first week is at Grand Floridian villas, then the next week is at Beach Club Villas. The room at GF is supposed to be a lake view so maybe we'll be able to see the fireworks. We stayed at Bay Lake Tower earlier this year and was able to see the Electrical Water Parade from our room and it was nice.
That's a great split! You should be able to see the water parade and the fireworks from the DVC building.

I've only visited each of them, but the clown pool at Boardwalk is creepy. I loved Beach Club and AKL.

If I were to ever splurge on a deluxe, it would be Beach Club or AKL.

Thank you for all in put. Im looking to stay In March, and thought all the flowers at Epcot would be nice to see. We will be traveling with 2 young kids. My daughter will be turning 3 around this time. I like the idea of being able to walk to 2 parks and I could get to the monorail. just going with the kids the buses are hard sometimes. Do any of the rooms at BC, YC, or boardwalk able to see Epcot for fireworks?
If you're looking to see a lot of Epcot, I'd definitely go Yacht & Beach Club. We always stay there and it's really good for kids. It's a transportation hotspot and a really central area.

I do believe some rooms do have views of the fireworks but they won't be front row as the fireworks are based around the world showcase and many trees between Epcot and the hotels block the view. You can definitely hear them, and they are visible from the grounds.
