I know it's a joke, but you know what? That is a Great IdeaMy sources tell me that the plane will be fully restored and on display in Disney Springs by this day, April 1st, next year.

Honestly, that's not a bad idea at all.
Jimmy Buffett's plane has been stored in the Florida climate now going on 10 years or more. It hasn't fallen apart yet. If Comcast can keep a plane looking good for that amount of time, surely Disney can do it.The Florida climate isn't good for aircraft parked for years. There is a reason why unwanted aircraft are stored in desert locations..
It will get to a time when this plane will fall apart if people attempt to move it.
Plus, it helps that the Hemisphere Dancer is an AMPHIBIAN, thus built to get very wet...Jimmy Buffett's plane has been stored in the Florida climate now going on 10 years or more. It hasn't fallen apart yet. If Comcast can keep a plane looking good for that amount of time, surely Disney can do it.
Does anyone know of updated plans for the plane? Also, has anyone ever verified that the previous paint job was actually a wrap? I can't see why they would paint it in its original livery only to have it sit backstage to rot away.
Man that just seems like a great deal of extra work to have it sit backstage. I got to believe they have better plans for this plane. It is a shame that it isn't out there now.articos confirmed that is was not a wrap and that it was re-painted. He is a pretty reliable source.
