Just wondering if a dark or black theme for the forum could be created in the future. I type this sitting in a dark room and the white screen is a tad annoying, when many sites feature a dark mode. Other than that the site is perfect!

Settings -> System -> Display
'Night Light' switch

You'll probably have to go to 'Night Light settings' and turn off the schedule because by default it will do sunset to sunrise. For this type of use, change the schedule to be 12 pm to 11:45am so that it basically covers the entire day.

The benefit is that it will work on all sites/programs, not just this site. This type of thing (inspired by f.lux) is better for your eyes than a 'dark' theme too.

MacOS and the up to date phone OSes have a similar option.
