Interesting idea and I would listen while working at home for sure.

I believe the background music everywhere on property is a very under rated portion of the magic at Disney. We love just sitting on benches, especially at EPCOT, and just taking in the atmosphere and the subtleties of the music in each section of the theme park.

I can understand how this is overlooked by the "everyday" tourist as they do not have the time to just sit and listen when they are rushing around trying to squeeze everything in on a time strained vacation. Living here gives us this opportunity and we have come to enjoy our visits even more having the time to do whatever we wish to do.

Good luck. I used to listen to MouseWorld Radio a lot, because they had that nifty sleep timer function and they had a lot of EPCOT music (especially Behind the Waterfall from Wonders of Life), but they shut down due to music licensing related issues, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm pretty confident that you will get a huge majority of Yes votes. I'm always up for some Disney music so I'd tune in. The sounds of EP, past and present are distinctly different and would be a nice addition to other Disney sounds/music I listen to.

Not sure there's enough to not repeat songs quite a bit.
That would be my concern.... Even if you had 100 songs after awhile you would be getting bored with some of them.

Also I think you would have a problem with the copyright aspect of it. Consider the music used when you are in line for Soar'n as an example... Most of that music was from various movie sound tracks... that would require you getting the right to use that music if you were going to be paying it over the internet.. I'm assuming you don't actually mean a radio station as that would be insanely expensive... Is this just an internet based deal?

@wdwmagic and @The Mom please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong forum. :)
So a while back I came up with an idea for an internet radio station and I would like as much feedback as possible. My idea is a free station dedicated to EPCOT Center, and no other parks. I know that there are many online stations dedicated to WDW, but I have not been able to find any that are solely EPCOT. I just love the music of EPCOT, and there is so much of it from different eras, from 1982 all the way to 2016. So I was wondering if anybody would be interested in this concept, and if it would attract any listeners. I do not plan on trying to make any money off of this, it would just be a hobby, but I would not go through with it if there was no audience for it. I would appreciate any opinion on the idea, even if you think it is a terrible idea, I want to know that! If it is well received, I may begin to create the station soon!
Can i also make a magic kingdom one?
