If you're like me, the Defunctland web series drew you in with their amazing content on "extinct" Disney attractions but kept you hooked with the fantastic editing, production values, and storytelling. I feel like I've been watching Kevin's channel from the start and I love how over the years, his content has been getting longer and longer form, yet the way he strings the story together makes his videos seem substantially shorter than they are. His nearly two hour video on "FastPass" a couple years ago was the talk of the Disney community for weeks when it came out and has now surpassed over 20 million views!
As such, it's fantastic to see his channel be nominated for as "mainstream" an award as the Peabody award! I'm not sure if Kevin lurks these boards or not, but if he does, Congrats! This nomination (win or not) is amazing and well, WELL deserved!
