I have been trying to get one of these for about a month now. Unfortunatly they are still completly sold out.mikelan6 said:I had written to WDW Guest Services and they advised me that this was normal. Last night, I tried the lights with the batteries and had the same result. They shut off about fifteen minutes after being turned on.
The lights do not get very hot from what I could tell. The electrical adapter gets warm, as all adapters do.
Oh, and yes the lights are wonderful when they are on. Mostly a display of blues and greens.
I have been checking all five of the stores. Unfortunatly none have had any for a while now. However I was finally able to get mine today at Epcot.mikelan6 said:Peter ... have you tried the Art of Disney Store in the Magic Kingdom? That's where we got ours. We happened to be in the Art of Disney in Downtown Disney this morning and they did not have any for sale and even removed the one on display because they were getting too many people asking for it.
I don't know yet. I'll have to check that out.unkadug said:Well, out of curiosity, do your lights also go out after 15 minutes?
I believe the only pieces currently available at WDW are: Cinderella Castle, The double decker bus, the horse and carriage, and the four princess characters set.mikelan6 said:Congratulations, Peter. I hope you enjoy your castle as much as we do.
We were at DD a few weeks ago and bought the double decker bus model too. Can you tell me what other pieces the Art of Disney Epcot store had?
I'm thinking about starting to collect these. Are they worth it?
And... Does anyone have the list of all the WDW items they have out so far?
Can anyone tell me where and how much once of the models of Cinderella Castle costs... im looking for one and wondering this information...
thanks, SpectroHouz
