Decisons decisions!

Okay how can anybody chose a favorite theme park? I'm going for 3 days with my mom step dad older sister and my younger sister who is 4. If we only get 3 days there, what theme parks could we go to that would have rides that ae for my little sister? Like I know for sure we are going to AK and MK. But we can't decide between Hollywood Studios and Epcot? Can anybody tell me which one a little kid would probably like more between those two? Thanks

Although there aren't a lot of rides, if your sister is only 4, I'd say Hollywood Studios. The Honey I Shrunk The Kids playground should be right up her street, and there's Disney Jr and Little Mermaid shows, and even if lines are too long for Toy Story, the streets around it usually have characters and fun things to look at. For the rest of the family the park also has lots of other cool things, like the Indiana Jones show, Star Tours, and Tower of Terror (your sister may even be OK on that - my 4 year old niece did it fine, but it depends on how brave a kid is, I wouldn't send most on it).

Epcot is a far better park, but kids only really take to it around 6 or 7 I think as there aren't any attractions specifically aimed at them, and little legs can get tired as it's so big, so DHS is much easier in that respect.

If we had 3 days with a little one, we'd spend 1 1/2 (or even 2) at MK, 1/2 day at Epcot (Future World only), and the remaining half or full day at EITHER AK (if your sister is into animals and would enjoy the Safari, nature trails, Kali River Rapids, and Lion King/Nemo shows, etc.) or HS (if your sister is into the Muppets, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Toy Story, and character M&Gs).

MK is far more dense with attractions and offers more to do for all ages (especially if you lack the patience to watch several live shows in a day). We tend to spend about half of our time there on any WDW vacation.

I'd have to say Hollywood Studios (as much as I love Epcot!) because they have a good amount aimed at the younger kids now. A Disney Junior Live show and I heard they have a ton of Frozen stuff going on as well.

HS. You have Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Animation Studio, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, various character greetings and Fantasmic. One word about that. If you go, prepare her that there is a "scary" section but it's all pretend. Mickey wins out in the end. Just wanted to lety you know going in. I saw more than one family leave with their little one during the villians section of the show.

Oh, and who can forget Frozen? (Me, I had to edit the post). "It's Been a Long Time Since Forever" show, Frozen Oaken's Playground, etc.

Also, not sure when you're going but if during Christmas time, she would enjoy the Osborne lights.

for the 4 yr old, I would NORMNALLY say Studios...BUT personally I think the studios is a waste of time so I would go with Epcot. Yes, its more techy, but who knows what a 4 yr old will like! There are characters in each land that they represent, so that shouldn't be a problem. AND you will have 11 countries to visit as a family that you may never get an opportunity like this again(if you visited the actual country) France and Italy are very romantic, you could use this as a second honeymoon and have dinner by the lagoon and then watch the fireworks from your private spot! Just an idea...but of course you will have the kids too! Unless parents are going with you so they can watch the kids and you and your special someone can have a truly romantic and magical DATE NIGHT in France or Italy...make it fun and when you hand the kids off to the parents in the late afternoon to spend time at resort pool, slip into some dressy clothes and then go on a walk around the promenade to France or Italy for a candlelit, private dinner overlooking the lagoon. Maybe Ratatouille will stop by and say hello!?
