Decisions, decisions...

I adore these forums, I use them so much when planning each and every trip.

So, I'm about to book my first solo trip to Disney for December this year. I LOVE Disney at Christmas. Anyway, I've narrowed down my options to two, but I just can't decide which plan to go for:

1) 10 nights at CS in a standard room
or
2) 7 nights at YC in a standard room.

I've never stayed in either of those resorts but they both look lovely. I like the location of YC, but it would mean a shorter vacation. I'm also booking DDP and easily have 10 TS restaurants at which I would like to eat. I don't mind busy, busy days, but a longer vacation would give me time to have some down time too I guess. I just don't know what to choose...

Would appreciate any thoughts on which option you would go for.

Being a resort snob I would go with 7 nights at YC. I totally get down time but having spent the morning watch youtube videos of resorts, Yacht Club!

You could do the longer CS vacation and on one of your down days hang out at the Yacht Club?

I enjoy staying at deluxe resorts, but if it came to a choice between a 10-day or a 7-day stay, I would choose the longer stay.

My length of stay is limited by the amount of vacation time I have, not the cost of the stay.

I also vote for a longer stay and CS is a really nice place to stay at. Love the fountains in the courtyards and walking around the lake. I've done 2 solo trips at Christmas time, with the last one being 9 days. You will love it.

I think that I might stick with 10 nights at CS after all. I've been reading about it and looking at some photos and it does look really nice.

I agree with @Monty
I adore the deluxes but I'd chose the longer stay, especially since the longer stay is a few days more than the short, not like a 1 day longer stay.

Staying at CS in several weeks. Looking forward to it. It sounds like your stay at CS is longer because of the savings achieved from not staying at YC and applying it to more days on your tickets.

Sounds like a no brainer to me. Go with CS.

I didn't enjoy my stay at YC (yes, I know others love it) and I know a lot of people who love CS, so I'd go with CS and get the longer trip out of it as well.

Coronado Springs is a BEAUTIFUL resort. I really enjoyed my visit there. Have fun!
