December Park Houre

Anyone have any idea when December park hours and extra magic hours will become available?

Trying to make some plans ready to book ADR's as soon we get to 180 day mark as I know christmas will be very busy and might be difficult to get reservations.

Dont want to book ADR's without planning where I will be on each day!

If they are anything like November hours, I wouldn't hold your breath. November hours were supposed to be out May 1 or thereabout. It's now May 20 and still no November hours. According to some other info on this board, they won't be out until mid-June. Don't know if that will push December hours back to mid-July or not.

I too like to have the hours/EMH so that we can make dining ADR's. My 180 day mark was last week, so I had to just go ahead and make my ADR's. Hopefully they will work out.

Decembers Park Hours and EMH's should be out on or around June 1st. Until we know the reasons for the delay in posting Novembers hours I would just keep watching these boards and see if somebody can find a timetable for them being posted

Exactly. Unless I've missed something (which I easily could have), no one has posted confirmed info as to why the November hours are being delayed, and no one knows for sure when they will be out.

Disney has always been pretty good about getting the hours out on or about the first of the month. I really see no reason why December hours would not be posted on or around June 1 assuming the November hours are posted by then as well. :shrug:

Chances are whatever problem they are having with the November hours is temporay. Just because Nov. hours are being delayed does not mean Dec. hours will too, unless the problem is not fixed by June 1.

I posted this in another thread but I spoke with a CM yesterday and she told me the November hours won't be posted until mid-June. We made all of our ADRs and hopefully no major adjustments will have to be made once the schedule arrives. She did inform me though, "all the Halloween and Christmas party dates have been announced!" Yes, thanks for that. I already have tickets for the Christmas party. hahaha

This is really frustrating. But I guess all we can do is refer to last year's EMH and hope it's similar, if not the same.

I'm not real sure about all the EMHs or if there are any truly noted patterns. It seems to me they generally run the same for the evening EMHs by the day of the week. For instance, it seems like Epcot evening EMHs have been on Friday nights the past couple trips we've made. If I was going to make a guess at EMHs for my travel plans (December) I'd go by what I had noted by day of the week vs. dates. Does that make sense? :shrug:

Although there is no hard and set policy on when park hours are posted, in general the hours are posted by the end of the first full week of the month, 6 months in advance.

There has been a delay in posting November's operating hours, however, there has been no official word on when the Theme Park Hours or Extra Magic Hours will be posted. We have simply been advised that these hours will be posted soon.

When Park Hours are posted, they are released to the official website (disneyworld.com) and to One Source (our internal information data-base) at the same time. As more information is provided, I would be happy to post as soon as the information is officially released.

IMHO, November park hours haven't been posted because resort reservations are down substantially for the fall, due to the economy. Disney's hoping that things pick up as families get their $600 refund checks. They're waiting as long as they can for November and December park hours, to see how much they need to cut back operating expenses. Just a hunch.
