:hurl: WHAT is the reason you allow the odyssey restaurant to decay and spoil the beauty of ebcot ? WHY.. must you turn all nice relaxing exibits into thrill rides, that make people sick,don't forget older people love DISNEY ALSO..

Because 60% of the Odyssey complex is still used every day. It houses the Main Employee dining room for Epcot as well as First Aid and a couple sets of Restrooms. Plus the Restaurant portion itself is still use everyday during the Food and Wine Festival as well as Special Events during other times of the year.

It's used atleast weekly for a grand gathering event too.. So, the complaint isn't if its open, but rather if you're allowed inside.

The Odyssey complex is between Test Track and Mexico, it is accessed via 3 bridges.

Welcome to the boards, RONALD L, and might I suggest that, to increase visibility for your posts that you post them on one of the main boards.

Unfortunately, the Oddessy complex is rather oddly placed, and unless you're going there for a specific reason, it's easy to overlook and pass right by.

I actually do agree that the Odyssey is looking really shabby... and just seems so out of place. I was just commenting about that to my sister last time I was there, actually. It looks so rundown and sad... and it's in such a weird place too.

It definitely just needs... something.
