Stuff like that happens all the time. The problem is that there weren't enough of you that stayed to justify the expense of all those CM's. Just not a big enough return and that is what business is all about.
No, that is what a business that has become too focused on the micro is about. It is in direct contrast to the highly successful business model that was established at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. There is absolutely no reason that this business model cannot be reinstated.

I'm not trying to get anyone rallied up, but Disney cutting things has me not feeling the Magic so much. Universal to me has really stepped up their game and is putting Disney to shame. I have said it many times to my husband that Disney to me isn't that magical to me. I'd much rather go Universal then Disney. Universal really has me hooked. We are going to Disney and Universal in like 15 days. I'm going to see how it goes, but with each trip I take it gets worse. I'm thinking we might skip Disney all together next yr which is a shame since we go every yr. =( I really hope Disney takes a note pad and learn what their customers are wanting. My saying if it isnt broke why fix it.

I don't recall the "business model that was established at Disneyland" including giving special time in the parks to the higher paying customers while the 2nd class customers have to leave.
This is a perk, and a small portion of it is being rescinded. Big whoop.
EMH are a joke half the time anyway, especially at Epcot. One of the few times I had EMH, I'm wandering around World Showcase, going by all the CMs standing in front of shops where no one is shopping, and restaurants where no one is eating. I left WAY before the 3rd hour.
They could do away with the WHOLE thing as far as I'm concerned, and get the parks back into shape.

I am speaking about much more than just Extra Magic Hours.

I cant stand kids so using your logic lets get rid of all the attractions built just for them. I dont use them after all.

Sometimes reading these forums is like a paradox. Everyone complains about how much broken stuff is on Splash Mountain, yet when they have it closed during EMH so they have more time to fix all the broken stuff at night to have it in good shape for the next morning, everyone complains that they are cutting back and the management is horrible etc etc.

I don't think some people on here realize that this ride runs for 15+ hours a day. MK is open from 9-10 on an average day and the operations team starts up the ride normally 2 hours or so before park opening. So the maintenance team has normally like 4 hours to actually work on the ride when it's not operating. When are they supposed to fix all the stuff that breaks throughout the day?
