So is this good or bad to you?
I still have not let my DD's 9 and 6 watch the first one. They get those images stuck in their head at night and no one gets any sleep!:snore:

It's good because it keeps the annoying kiddies out of the theater!

If I'm not mistaken, Curse of the Black Pearl was PG-13, I can remember the discussions...

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was PG-13, and it was a much more enjoyable movie-going experience than the previous 3 because of that.

Star Wars: Episode 3 was PG-13 for the same reasons....I don't think it makes any difference tho. I can see kids being afraid of the burnt Anakin, the skeletons from the first POTC and/or the squid-headed looking fellow in the next movie (sorry, don't know his name).

It'll save some parents grief from lack of sleep when their children can't sleep because of bad images that are stuck in there head.

It doesn't keep the kids out, it just means their parents have to accompany them. And we all know from going to WDW, that just because there are parents around does not necessarily make children any less unruly.
