Ddp exchange?

We recently used the free DDP with one table service, one quick service, and on snack per day. We enjoyed the meal plan but mainly because it was free. I enjoyed the table service meals, but normally I wouldn't go to that many of these type of restaurants during our trip. My question is, if I were to get the FREE dining plan again, could I substitute the table service credits for the quick service meals? I just seams that going to that many sit down meals takes up too much time.

Or just the opposite, could 2 quick service meals be used for 1 table service meal?

I think Disney needs to expand on what is to be offered on the Dining plans.

During periods of peak dining (ie during free dining) Disney has been known to allow you to trade down but never up. As a general rule if you need to trade down you would be much better off not getting the DDP.

Personally, I adore the Table Service meals, but I can understand the idea that they take up too much time.
My question is, if you go during free dining, can you downgrade to the Quick service meal plan?
You would get 2 quick service meals a day, 2 snacks a day and a refillable mug.
You probably won't get any money back by downgrading, but it will suit your needs.
