DDP and Gratuity Question

Now that we are a group of six, we will have an 18% gratuity charge. My questions is, how do they "bill" the gratuity when the group of six is in two different rooms/packages?

Hey I know the answer to this! We went in August with 15 people divided into 5 rooms. The CM's at every place are very well trainned. They just took 1 room key from each room and brought each room back a bill with their tip portion on it. You then can pick to pay the tip in cash or charge it back to your room.

Yep...thats what they do. We had 6 people in two rooms, the servers handled it perfect, dividing it up by room without any problem. I had the problem because I then had to add the two totals together and "They told me that there would be no Math involved in this life" Thank god for cell phones with caculators
