Ddp 2009??

Were still debating on the ddp for next year...
I had read somewhere that the meal no longer includes Appatizers? Is this true? Were just wonderig for next year if the price will be cheaper is appatizers arnt included. Were just wondering what were going to be looking at for food costs, $40 a day for the ddp right? It seems like a very good deal, even if we are spending a day off property.

I don't think DDP info is officially released until August, around the time that packages become available.

As far as the current DDP, the regular dining plan for 2008 no longer includes appetizers nor gratuity, whereas the 2007 DDP included those things. I think it was 38 dollars a day per person in 2007 and 37 per person per day in 2008. For what they got rid of on the DDP, they only dropped the price by a buck.

Even so, IMO, it is still a good deal, as you can still easily exceed 37 bucks at many TS restaraunts alone even without gratuity and appetizer.

I have no idea what changes (if any) are in store for the 2009 DDP.

The folks from the UK are saying that they are being offered a third level to the DDP. This level includes two counter services and two snacks a day. I am not sure what the per day price of this is, or If they will offer this to the US fans. I am going for this plan next year if offered. I am tired of the ADR and the planning involved in setting up all the sit downs and the 2 hours out of the park time it takes for a sit down meal.
