Hey there all, As of my last trip to Disney if you want to use the DDE/TIW card for the free Valet Parking privilege, make sure that you grab the receipt from the place you are eating at or you may be charged for the onsite parking. Apparently this was always the rule, but I had never had that enforced. I was asked a number of times last week at different locations. Hope this helps!!! Belle

It has always been the rule. I never had to worry about it as I also have a Handicap Parking shield, so get free valet anyway.

Thanks for the heads up... I will be using the free valet at the Polynesian for Ohana. Should I not have the disney resort parking pass in the window? I have heard that I may still get charged if its in the window.

If you have TIW, you are entitled to free valet parking [with receipt]. Shouldn't matter what you have in the window.

It shouldnt, however I have had my room charged for parking when using the DDE card because I left my parking pass ( which is keyed to your room) in the window. In all instances, the charges were reversed for me, but as a precaution, take the parking pass out of the window, just to be sure. We did this last trip and had no issue at all!!! Belle
