DDE and Japan

Can you use the DDE at the Japan pavillion now that they opened the new restaurants? Also can you use it at Yak & Yeti in AK?

No on both accounts. An AP or safari club membership will get you a 10% discount at Y&Y.

Yes it will. It is not really a recent change. The resturants in Japan have never officially accepted DDE but it is my understanding that you could talk to a manager and they would on occasion begrudgingly accept it. Y&Y is brand new and has never accepted DDE. RFC accepted it at one time (Y&Y and RFC are owned by the same company) but they no longer do.

Just got back from the World today, we ate in Japan twice while we were there and they only accept the AP which gives you 10% off at lunch only Monday thru Friday. We ate there Friday for lunch and they took the AP and we had such a good meal there that we went back Sat and they told us only during the week they take the AP.
