Are these prices up alot on past years???

The schedule's highlights include:

In summer of 2013, the Disney Magic will resume European sailings departing from Barcelona for a three-month season. The new Mediterranean itineraries will feature some different options, such as a four-night cruise, seven-night cruises, and 12-night sailings that will head off to some of the newest ports for Disney Cruise Line to visit. One itinerary will include Venice, Italy and the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia; the other itinerary will take guests to Ephesus, Turkey and the Greek Isles, with a stop at Athens. There will be two sailings of each itinerary, one in June and one in July. Rates for these Mediterranean cruises range from $796 for four nights, $1,015 for seven nights, and $2,244 for 12 nights. All prices are per person, based on double occupancy in an inside stateroom.

The 4 nights is downright cheap, the 7 night is about what I expected, and the 12 night is high, but it has an additional night!

Yeah the 12 night is higher than i had hoped but the new stops sound great...... but going on those price 2 back to back 7 night cruises would be cheaper or the same as the 12 night.... decisions decisions :ROFLOL:

I think the 7 nighters did well last time and they are a little more realistic for some people's time frame. I think the 4 nighters are intended to be for a land/sea type vacation. I'm sure there will be some Adventure by Disney tie ins.

Oh for sure, that was what first tipped us off that there would be stops in Greece this year :sohappy:

I took the late August Med cruise last year, 7 night. It is definitely more expensive! I did get a great rate...they were having very hard times filling the ships. Got a special at $950/pp for CAT 10Cgty. We were upgraded to a Cat 6A. Great upgrade! I suggest to keep checking for discounts especially at the 9-8 month mark. They really had problems filling the ships. I am surprised they are going back.

It's all about making DCL a worldwide cruise brand not just American!

I'm hopin they drop prices between August and December but I'm not holding my breath, those rooms flew out on opening day!

But you never know!

Oh I'd believe it but it seems now that prices have held since yesterday so most of the people who were waiting for it are probably booked by now so wel see what happens over the next few months...

Yes they have! I priced someone last night and booked someone this morning and it was the same price. I think they'll hold for a while.
