That's a looooooooooong walk I totally understand and appreciate why they did it. But it's a long way to go.

And no shade. And the bus ride after you walk it is long also. I think they are planning another walkway so they can run trams.

But the beach there was amazing. Wave after wave. 3-5 footers. A perfect wave pool. I don't know if its always like that.

Planning another walkway where? I got the impression that what is there is what will be there. There were plans for trams to the dock but they were cut due to “environmental concerns” because it would have required an additional row of pilings.

Our weather there was perfect. Great waves, partly cloudy most of the day, and not blazing hot.

A walkway right next to the one that is there. That would allow mororized vehicles and walkers. Just something I heard. No idea of its validity.

The sea was the same when I was there (1st November) it was just gorgeous.

I recorded the walk and got just under a kilometre from the ship to the tram.
