I have to admit, I don't get the potato option for this dish. When we sailed on Princess last year, we got this type of potato probably 4 times out of 15 nights. This is essentially a large Tater Tot. Who wants a Tater Tot with their steak tips?? Nobody. They can really do better.

Tot. . . croquette. A rose by any other name. . .They are potato croquettes. Very standard side dish here in Germany in restaurants - and considered a bit on the fancier side.
