DCL - Mexican Rivera / Alaska Ground Transfer Question

Hi All

My wife and I booked a cruise for the Mexican Riveria for Sept 2011. I was wondering if someone could give me some insight on ground transfers.

I know with DCL leaving from Florida you get picked up at airport, taken to resort if you choose for a few days, then off to cruise and they return you to airport.

Does anything like this occur in Disneyland. I would think with both the Alaska and Mexican cruise going on they would have something like this.

Thanks,

Disneyland does not have anything near the vast transport network that WDW has (for the simple reason that everything in the resort is within a roughly five-ten minute walk from everything else). From the airport, there is a Disneyland Shuttle (costs roughly $20) to the resort area. However I am not aware of anything serving the Disney Cruise Line there at present. Have you tried contacting the resort to find out if they have such a service available?

I do know that they are planning on expanding the offerings since the Wonder is going to be permanently on the West Coast, and they do have airport to cruise transfers available now, but that is the end of my knowledge. When we went on our cruise in January they said to expect similiar offerings and vacation add ons for the West Coast soon, but who knows what will actually come true.
