Anyone have the email address for DCL specifically? I encountered some wonderful castmembers on the cruise and want to drop DCL a note about them.

I also have a question/suggestion and maybe someone here can answer it for me:

Why *must* you purchase your photos on-board? Why can't they set something up like photopass where you can review/view your photos at home and decide/buy then? I felt rushed to purchase photos and would have probably purchased more if I had more time to 'think about' them.

Welcome back! Did you love it?

Here's the contact info. I may call the phone number to see if this is the best email address for what you are going to do.

I think they are going by the opposite philosophy on board. They think more people will feel pressure to buy onboard and won't feel that pressure once they get home.

To me its a true shame they don't offer the photopass option. I know we'd buy more pics once home - while trying to extend the magic! I hate keeping paper photos from being ruined or bent while on vacation. You'd think with the high tech ships...they would offer this option. Just not sure...why they don't. Even for the editing and purposes that you can do with the photopass - that I really like!

I really think DCL is missing the BOAT on this one. heehheeheh

Last May's cruise on the Dream we purchased one pic. I know once home we would have got at least 3 or 4 more. But I just didn't want to bother with storing the extra pics knowing we had our land portion of the trip to follow. Plus the price was ridiculous. $19 for a 4X6??? I think that is what it was...

I'm sure this May we'll get one as well. We like to get just the inbound pic of us embarking the ship. All the excitment etc!

I don't understand the whole picture process on the ships eitherr.

They print out ALL the pictures they take - what an insane waste of paper and ink.

What they should do is store them electronically, just like photopass, and have screens, just like photopass, where you can page through them and buy prints if you want.

Offer a master CD option too, just like photopass.

YUP agree 100%

What is funnier is last May on DREAM their face recognition program was not working. They kept on printing another groups pics and putting them in our folder. So we got to learn about their trip! heheh

We told them a few times and actually removed the pics from our pocket/folder and gave them to a CM. They said it would be fixed. Then later in the trip MORE of those groups’ pics were in our folder again.

We found them at pool side one day and told them about it as we introduced ourselves to them. They had some great shots of the kids and grandma. ;) Figured they want to at least see them. They thanked us.

Who knows who got some of our pics in their folder? I know we had a few taken that we never saw.

Hope the figure out what a waste of paper etc it is and they go digital with some sort of photo pass options.

We can only hope!

I agree I would love a photopass option, but I know why they do it. There are lots of people who would never go look at photopass online but when they see a picture of their adorable grandchildren printed out right there in front of them, they're going to buy it. Seeing and touching it makes them want it.

There is a master CD option, but it's a lot more than Photopass.

Agreed - but give us 'seasoned' Disney people the option to buy @ home

I'm with you! :)

I would love that and a CD price more along the lines of Photopass. Or at least let us share them among linked staterooms. Unfortunately I think the DIS ruined that. When the CD's first came out, huge groups of DIS'ers were linking staterooms just to share the CD price.

Disney took care of that as soon as they realized it was happening.

...Leave it to one group to spoil it for everyone
