DCA Food and Wine Festival Returns

The year I went was pretty disappointing compared to Epcot's which is pretty amazing. Was basically a special signature item at some of the DCA restaurants and then a little food court of sorts in the building that used to house Hollywood & Dine. There were also some cooking demonstrations in Hubcab Plaza. Still, was nice to have and I remember eating some tasty food!

I was wondering how this compared to Epcot's. Does the food court area have the little samples like Epcot, or are they more like full meals? My AP expires in April, so we'll probably check this out.

The Pixar Parade sounds like it would be really fun, but it always fell short for me. I feel the same about Soundsational. Maybe I'm not a parade person. I really liked the Electrical parade though.

I don't care for Pixar Play Parade at all, but I do think it's a poopy move for DCA to go without any parade for more than a month because of a weekends-only revenue festival, I mean food festival. With no show in the Hyperion, that leaves no major entertainment option in that park until WOC starts in the evenings.

That's true. Maybe when the parade makes it's return, it will have Zootopia characters added in. Do they still use the Inside Out characters?

No, the Inside Out pre-parade came and went; it wasn't actually integrated into the parade itself. Zootopia won't be added (it's not Pixar). Really, the parade needs to be replaced as it's nearly 8 years old.

Oh yeah, duh. Lol Not sure where my brain went on that one. I agree the parade needs to be replaced though. For sure.
