There was an Al Lutz article that said they might take out some of the smaller rides in Paradise Pier like the Orange Stinger and Malaboomer...but I choose not to believe him until official word gets out.
They would never take out California Screamin'...

Really? I always thought it was strange for the park to have 2 free fall, up and down attractions. (After they built ToT) And I thought the Maliboomer pretty much fit in with the rest of the half-hearted attractions around Paradise Pier.

The only thing is, I imagine the Maliboomer doesn't take up a lot of space. So I don't know if taking it down would really be worth it?

I think Maliboomer and ToT are different enough for them both to be ok in one park. Maliboomer scares the crap out of me every time because you're outside and it shoots you up. ToT doesn't scare me at all. I would rather them take out Mailboomer than ToT if they had to, but they seem ok where they are now.

But I agree with what you said. It doesn't take up that much space, so why take it down? If it were breaking down constantly and costing them a lot of money then take it down, but it isn't so leave it.
