Days to Avoid Parks

We are planning our December Trip, and somewhere there was a list of which days are bad days at various parks. I know you can never predict what it's going to be like at a parek on a particular day. But there was someplace that had a list that said on Monday avoid say MK. Does anyone know where this list is?

Thanks

Touringplans.com - But you need to either subscribe or buy the book to get the listing that far out. It's available for free within 30 days.

I think the Unofficial Guide has some, but to get the up to date ones, you have to use Touring Plans, which you can with The Unofficial Guide, I believe.

When are you going? We went during the Christmas Week two times over the past 4 years and really only had problems on Christmas Day and possibly on the 26th. I know that you should avoid MK on Christmas Day and we've usually done Animal Kingdom early morning on it, with very light crowds. A lot of times it's best to just feel it out a little when you get down there.

OK, here is my take on the subject...

I checked The Unofficial Guide and couldn't find the list, BUT I cheked in my Mini Mickey book and found this...

Least Crowded Days: "From September through May(excluding holidays and typical Spring Break weeks), Saturday and Sunday are the most crowded days."

"Magic Kingdom: Friday and Wednesday are least crowded during December."

"Disney Hollywood Studios: Thursday and Friday are the best during off-season"

"Epcot: Monday and thursday are least crowded durinf November and December."

"Animal Kingdom: Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during high or low season!"

I hope this helps in your trip planning! I am planning a 2012 December trip and will use thses days as my reference!

Have a Magical Day,
Will

I second that.

I always subscribe once I've booked a trip so I can plan accordingly (i.e. work out which ADR's to have on which dates etc).

Do keep checking it though as they keep the information up to date so it often changes the closer you get to your trip.

THanks for the infor. I did see Tourplanning.com but thought I had seen it someplace else.

We are going the 3rd of December thru the 12th, which I know won't be as crowded as other times a year. My wife just likes to plan the parks and go on a day that isn't in general considered busy.

We'll be there the 4th -14. As a general rule we avoid the MK on Saturdays. The Xmas parade taping will likely be the 3rd/4th so that's an "avoid" in our books. For the most part we haven't found any of the other parks to be particularly bad on the other days. Epcot does get crowded on it's EMH night.

Weekends at DTD are a little nuts too because of holiday shopping.

Fingers are crossed for light crowds:xmas:
