Daybeds at Boardwalk

Hi Everyone,
How big are the couch/daybeds at the Boardwalk. Elizabeth from KK checked it out for me and Disney said that it is about the size of a childs bed. Anyone stay there and have an opinion on this?

They are bigger than a child's bed. They are the size of a double bed, I'm 5'4" and I slept on it quite nicely. One of my DD slept on it each night and one is taller than I am.

EDIT: Didn't realized they changed during the renovation last year, here is a picture...Click here This looks like a queen.

They are mucg bigger post refurb compared to the original daybeds. In stead of just removing the back sushions and sleeping, now the entire back support part flips around to form a bed.

I am 6'4 and slept on it every night while at the BoardWalk. Beach Club has this new style daybed as well and I slept on that each trip. I could lay out flat and be fine (even though I don't sleep that way).

Thanks for the info both of you. There will be four adults in the room for my next trip, extra sleeping space is a good thing. Do all of the rooms have the day beds?

I cannot confirm if they all do, but I'm sure that an overwhelming majority do. Make sure you include a daybed as a request and you should be sure to get one.

If you request a daybed do they charge you extra for a room with one? We wouldn't necessarily need one but it would be nice for each kid to have their own sleeping space. Thanks.

Nope. No charge. A room with a daybed is the same price as a room w/o a daybed. Even if you don't use the daybed to sleep on, it's nice having another spot to sit and relax, other than the beds.

Enjoy the BoardWalk rooms--their recent refurbishment was top notch--very VERY nice!

All rooms have either 2 queen beds and a daybed or a king and a daybed, unless things have changed.

When we stayed we had a room with 2 queens and were on the top floor right above the Flying Fish, overlooking the lake...beautiful! And there was no noticeable noise from the boardwalk.
