It is really neat at 7:30pm

Unfortunately every time that we have gone to The World, they've had DAK close down before sunset. Buzzard luck considering that it our favorite park. One of these days I'll be able to check that one off the WDW bucket list.

It is a rare occurrence, but sometimes in October during MNSSHP nights it will be open later. That is how we got to be there until 7:30pm/1930hrs.

I prefer days on all vacations, including Disney. Up at dawn, down with the sun.

There is something enticing about the parks at night, though. They take on a different flavor. Well worth visiting and seeing fireworks! Just have to sleep in the next day!

Either way is great. :)

I like the looks and the feel of the nighttime parks. And it makes it even better if its a late night which makes the crowds thin out so rides can be ridden multiple times and without long waits. The street lamps, attraction lights all make it more festival looking. The Castle lit up at night also looks more regal.

I'm a night owl and force myself to get up early and get to the parks so I can get a lot of attractions done. Then I go back to the room and nap until evening so I can enjoy the parks at night. Visually, they are my favorite at night & produce some amazing photos. I do prefer the outdoor rides during the day, just so you can see all the details in the light.

While we almost always get an early start in the parks, it's done to get our $s worth and often out of necessity with crowds and ADR experiences. Ultimately, we're more night people. If it weren't for the cost of things and park hours, I'd be content to arrive between 6-7pm and go strong until at least 2am. Of course, the kids would never tolerate that...at least not at this point.

I feel that Disney at night is, pardon the overused phrase, magical. Disney at night is my happy place. Universal is pretty awesome at night as well.
