Then David came in and gave us each an autographed picture, and talked to us for a few minutes. He was kind of cold....in fact, one of the guys asked him if he could have another picture because he has two daughters and would like them each to have one, and David said "No"....even though there was a big pile of them.:lookaroun

I always thought he was a big old jerk. I've never liked him at all and refuse to watch him in any form. Looks like I was right. :lol:

Very cool to hear the "behind the scenes" of a magic trick though. Thanks for sharing it!

I went the year he started his flight illusion. Sat in the third row. It was a great show, but when we watched the television special he had the same to "random audience members" come up to the stage for the flight illusion. They used different names for the woman and he told a different bad joke regarding the guy's name(one the woman said her name was Bambi and he asked if the guy was Thumper, the other was Barbie and Ken). After the show, on the way out, he was standing by the exit and signing autographs, but he really wasn't looking as he did it. He was talking to one of the people that works for him and just running a sharpie over people's programs in what was presumably his signature.
