If you do not want to be part of the "Dance/Cheerleader conventions" these are SOME dates you will want to put on your "stay away" list....



Crystal Dance Spectacular.....March 5-7th, 2010

Cloggin Spectacular....March 5-7th, 2010

Holiday Dance Spectacualr....December 2-5th, 2010

July and August are the Dance Conventions.

August is the Reed Gold Dance Teachers convention at the swan or sometimes the Dolphin.

Thanks for the info. I see two conventions are coming in on 3/5, which is fortunately the day I leave. Shew.....just under the wire.

The Cheering and Dance Worlds are at WDW April 23-25. We overlapped with them last year, too and they were everywhere. Didn't bother us at the parks and didn't see any where we stayed (AKL) but I can imagine the value/moderate resorts will be a bit loud that weekend.

I dont have the exact date for the August stuff but I would think If you called Disney they might know.

I wouldn't worry about the convention in Aug. It is mainly for teachers so it is primarily adults that attend it. I have gone to that convention many times and it isn't even one of the biggest teacher conventions out there.
