dates released?

OK so looking at SW airlines for example, as of this day 1/27/11 they only have flights opened till 8/12/11.

I know you are all more knowledgeable then i am at this time, so when will the dates open for the month of September?

Ive been old that the earlier you book the better and im trying to help my sisters out so we can all go to florida with each other. They are leaving from Minneapolis and the other from the Orange County CA area, and the tickets right now are about 350-375.

Youve all been so helpfully already, this is just another step in the process.

oh if someone would explain to me about how airline release dates on their calender so i can learn my self that would be awesome too

Well in my hours of searching and COUNTLESS message boards for Southwest airlines i found my answer.

Go to SW's website. In the upper right hand corner youll see TRAVEL TOOLS, click that, slect VIEW ALL TRAVEL TOOLS.
At the very top will be a little blurp about when dates are released

Southwest just opened this morning for dates though September 30th!!!!:sohappy:

Southwest pirces look pretty good for the dates just released but the they sure have cut back in flight times. :shrug:
